This Worklet allows IT administrators to dynamically generate Automox tags based on Lansweeper endpoint data. Utilizing both the Automox and Lansweeper APIs, this Worklet targets and executes on a designated Lansweeper "host" device. Upon deployment, it initiates a detailed query on this host to collect comprehensive data and device details from Lansweeper, including serial numbers and associated tags.

How This Worklet Works

  • Data Collection: The Worklet scans the Lansweeper host device to extract detailed hardware and software data, ensuring all relevant endpoint information is captured.

  • Serial Number Correlation: The Automox API then performs an automatic correlation of serial numbers found in both Lansweeper and Automox databases, ensuring accuracy in the device matching process.

  • Tag Synchronization: For devices with matching serial numbers, the Worklet automatically synchronizes Lansweeper-defined tags and parameters with Automox. This includes attributes such as device roles, compliance status, and custom tags.

This Worklet enables IT administrators to automatically remediate patchable vulnerabilities identified within a Lansweeper Cloud instance.

Leveraging our APIs, this Worklet targets and executes on a single Automox "host" device. Upon launching the Worklet, you will define the parameters of your designated "host" device, including associating it with the appropriate Group and enabling Device Targeting to filter by the device's name.

How This Worklet Works

  • Vulnerability Data Collection: The Worklet queries the “host” device to scan for and capture vulnerability data from Lansweeper.

  • Device Matching: The Worklet prompts the Automox API to identify and match devices within Automox that are affected by the vulnerabilities detected in Lansweeper.

  • Data Mapping and Organization: Vulnerability data is asynchronously mapped, organized, and prioritized into executable batched reports.

  • Remediation: These reports can be reviewed and deployed for swift remediation from the Remediation Details page.
